TexMEP and AAHomecare will be sponsoring an Ice-Cream Social at the Texas State Capitol Building on April 26, 2021 from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM!

We will be sponsoring an ice-cream truck for legislators and their staff and utilizing this opportunity to meet with House and Senate legislators to discuss the importance of the DME/HME industry along with the following bills:

• SB2028: Omnibus Medicaid Bill
• SB1648: Cleanup of SB1207
• HB3677:  Relating to the coordination of Medicaid and private health benefits for Medicaid recipients with complex medical needs
• HB3678: Relating to an insurer's obligation for continuity of care for certain Medicaid recipients
• HB3679: Relating to the reimbursement of durable medical equipment providers participating in the Medicaid managed care program
• HB4040: Relating to the provision of certain benefits under Medicaid, including the coordination of private health benefits, and to reimbursement for some of those benefits.
